Your choices about essential storage and optional website analytics.

Your cookie choices
Essential storage keeps the website working. Optional analytics helps Cigma Consultants understand visits, popular pages and completed enquiries or assessments. Analytics starts only after you accept it. Accept analytics and Reject analytics are offered together; refusing does not stop you using the website.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site advertising tracking.
What essential storage does
Our website infrastructure can use cookies or browser storage to keep connections secure, route requests and support an authenticated session when a person signs in. These records are used to provide the requested service, rather than to measure visitors or target advertising.
Security and routing records last for the relevant session or the expiry set by the security service. Sign-in storage is retained until sign-out, expiry or removal in the browser. You can inspect the records and any expiry shown in your browser’s site-data settings.
Assessment answers
Your answers and any idea entered into an assessment are held in the current page’s memory. They are not saved to our database or sent with an email signup. Restarting the assessment or leaving or reloading the page clears them.
Remembering your choice
A local record called “cigma-privacy-notice” remembers your analytics choice for 180 days on this browser. It contains the choice, notice version, method and dates. This essential preference record is saved whether you accept or reject. When it expires, or the notice version changes, analytics stops until you choose again. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies only while the current page remains open.
Closing the cookie settings without saving makes no change. Closing the first notice using its cross rejects analytics. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Privacy button or Cookie settings in the footer.
Optional analytics
If you agree, our website reporting service receives page paths, event times, a random session identifier, whether an enquiry was successfully submitted, and whether an assessment was started or completed. We send the referring website’s domain and simple campaign source, medium or campaign labels when available. We also send the version and time of your consent as evidence of your choice.
We do not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry messages, assessment answers, results or ideas in analytics events. Full referring URLs, page query strings and advertising click identifiers are excluded. Analytics is not linked to a signed-in account. Network providers still see an IP address when delivering a request, as explained in our privacy policy.
The local record “cigma-analytics-session” is created only after acceptance. Its random identifier groups activity during a visit. The code stops reusing it after 30 minutes without measured activity, or after 24 hours at the latest, and replaces or removes it when the site next checks it. Turning analytics off and saving immediately removes this identifier and stops future measurement. Withdrawal does not automatically erase reports already received; contact us about your data rights.
Earlier preferences
Earlier acknowledgements do not count as analytics consent. When this version opens, it removes the old analytics preference and identifier, and asks you to make a fresh choice. This does not erase information already held in server records.
Fonts and other resources
Website fonts are served from this website. Your browser does not need to contact a separate font provider to display them.
Your browser controls
You can inspect, block or delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may affect security or sign-in features.
